Drug abuse is quickly associated with images similar to cocaine addicts or junkies, but the truth is it applies to any person who needlessly takes any drug to get through their daily lives. For instance people take cocaine, cannabis, nicotine, speed, ecstasy, and so on for their leisure in their daily lives even though doing so harms the body.

Drug addiction is a very disturbing element/aspect to drug abuse, because at this point the individual engaged in abusing the drug begins to feel like he/she has to needlessly depend on the drug regardless of the consequences to their body, mind, finances, or even loved ones.

Many Drug addicts even justify their dangerous positions with statements like ‘we're not hurting anyone' ‘what we do opens our minds' ‘don't knock it until you try it', and so on.  The truth is drug abuse/ addiction is nothing more than a murdering prison-trap that latches on to people who lack either knowledge, self worth, or love.
